Skip Bayless provided a rarely seen good take regarding Baylor’s blowout victory over Gonzaga.
Skip Bayless is known for unnecessarily inserting himself into stories. That is all part of his job. He did this recently by making the ridiculous claim that Jalen Suggs’ game-winner for Gonzaga in the Final Four was some kind of lucky shot.
So those who like to be annoyed were waiting with bated breath to see what Bayless would tweet out Monday as Gonzaga took on Baylor. In a shocking twist, he provided actual logical analysis of Baylor’s blowout victory.
Gonzaga just got out-muscled and out-hustled, out-willed and out-skilled, out-passed and out-shot, by a better and deeper basketball team that hasn't gotten enough credit because it doesn't have one big star. Congrats, Baylor.

Skip Bayless is spot-on about Baylor and Gonzaga
Some proper analysis from Bayless? 2021 is such a weird year.
He is totally right here as Gonzaga was beat in every single facet of the game by Baylor. They did not look like the undefeated team of destiny they were billed to be.
In true Bayless fashion, he did follow up his good take with a bit of a hot one.
Baylor's quick, physical, nasty defense made Timme and Kispert look like a couple of guys in headbands hoping to get in a game at the Y.

It is always weird when people poke fun at college athletes like this. They are unpaid kids who give it their all on a national stage. We can just chalk this up as a bad joke, even if the meaning behind it has some truth to it.
Bayless hating on Gonzaga this week sure is bizarre, but once again his hot takes are what builds business. No one is going to watch a debate show where the hosts provide calm, smart points.
