In a huge offseason move, the St. Louis Cardinals went out and made a blockbuster trade to land superstar third baseman Nolan Arenado. With Arenado now suiting up for the NL central club, the St. Louis supporters are ready for the team to compete for a division title.

Nolan Arenado received quite the ovation from fans during player intros on Thursday
Thus far this season, Arenado has reminded folks why St. Louis was so smart to make a move to land him, as he’s hitting .360 with one home run and three RBI. Arenado spent the first eight seasons of his career with the Colorado Rockies, earning trips to the All-Star Game five times.
Back in 2019, Arenado was fantastic in his last full campaign for the Rockies, smashing 41 homers and adding 118 RBI. As good as he is at the plate, Arenado is known for being equally impressive manning the hot corner. He’s surely got a fantastic glove and a rocket for an arm.
Now, the standout infielder is hoping to really make a name for himself with the Cardinals. St. Louis indeed has high expectations this year, with fans ready for the club to be in the NL pennant mix later this year. Should that happen, you better believe Arenado will make plenty of noise in potentially making that goal become a reality.
