Look: Jadeveon Clowney’s number revealed in Browns hype video
After signing a new deal with the Cleveland Browns, pass-rusher Jadeveon Clowney is throwing things back and returning to his old number.
Cleveland Browns fans out there are still jacked up over the news that standout pass-rusher Jadeveon Clowney will be suiting up for the team next season. General manager Andrew Berry has been on fire this offseason, with the Clowney news only making things better.
With Clowney getting ready to make plays later this year, he’ll do so by going back to his old ways. How will he be doing that? By sporting his old number and getting rid of the No. 99 he donned with the Tennessee Titans.
Jadeveon Clowney will rock No. 90 for the Cleveland Browns next season
After the sensational 2020 campaign the Browns had, which saw them go 11-5 in the regular season, the team will be ready for even bigger things starting next fall. Fans have every right to be hyped too.
Not only is Clowney on his way to town, but Odell Beckham Jr. continues to progress in his rehab from the torn ACL he suffered last campaign. Welcoming back Beckham is only going to make the offense more explosive for quarterback Baker Mayfield.
On top of that, Cleveland will have the 6-5, 255-pound Clowney ready to make countless moves in the trenches for the team. Quarterbacks in the AFC North must be squirming at the thought of him putting pressure on them. Last season with the Titans, Clowney, a three-time Pro Bowler, recorded 19 total tackles and one forced fumble. The year before, he posted three sacks and 31 stops for the Seattle Seahawks.
What will he be able to do for the Browns in 2021? Cleveland supporters are jacked up to find out, as Clowney will surely have high expectations with the team.
