As you can see from the tweets above, elation doesn’t even begin to describe how folks are feeling right now. Woodward has lost more and more support in recent years. Some on his alarming decisions during transfer windows have really stood out.

With Manchester United not living up to expectations time and time again too, Woodward really has become a villain across England for so many. This is one of the most historic clubs in all of Europe we’re talking about there. Yet with Woodward in charge, the team hasn’t really felt like legit title contenders of late. You think the fanbase enjoys seeing United in the Europa League? Heck no.

Now, though, Manchester United will have a fresh start coming next season, as the Woodward anchor will no longer weigh them down. If you’re of age and feel like downing a pint to celebrate, please do so. The Woodward nightmare is coming to a close.
