The 2021 NFL schedule is coming.

Wednesday, the NFL announced that the league would release the 2021 NFL schedule on May 12, a date that fans can now circle on their calendars to begin planning their viewing plans for the upcoming season.

May 12 will also begin the time-honored annual tradition of predicting wins and losses for each time long before training camps even get underway.

This will also, of course, be the first 17-game NFL season, which could produce additional drama late in the season as more teams are potentially in the playoff hunt down the stretch, as well as some marquee matchups along the way.

Here’s a look at some of the top games to look forward to during the upcoming 2021 NFL season:

Packers at Chiefs – A potential Super Bowl preview. The best game of the season.

Buccaneers at Colts – Tom Brady and the defending champs against Carson Wentz and a budding young roster.

Washington Football Team at Bills – The Bills are a sneaky challenger to the Chiefs in the AFC, and Washington has one of the game’s most dominant front-sevens.

Packers at Ravens – Aaron Rodgers vs. Lamar Jackson, two teams that figure to be legitimate Super Bowl contenders.

Lions at Rams – Our first chance to see who truly won the blockbuster trade that swapped Matthew Stafford and Jared Goff.
