Now that he’s with the Washington Nationals and far from Wrigley Field, Chicago Cubs legend Jon Lester has put up his impressive Chicago mansion up for sale.

Chicago Cubs supporters still have a hard time dealing with the fact that Jon Lester is no longer taking the bump for the club. A true fan favorite, Lester said goodbye to the city and signed a free agent deal with the Washington Nationals last offseason.

Now that he’s in our nation’s capital, Lester has no more use for his incredible mansion in Chicago. If you have a cool $6 million, you can make it yours today. Once you take a look at the photos of the property, you’re really going to be blown away.

Jon Lester’s Chicago home is up for sale and it’s amazing

Thanks to The Chicago Tribune, we’ve gotten an inside look at Lester’s Chicago home and it really is something else. There’s a reason it’s on the market for $6 million. Someone is going to be very lucky in swooping this one up.

As for Lester’s time in Chicago, it really was memorable. He joined the Cubs in 2015 and appeared in two All-Star Games during his six years in town. He of course helped the club win the World Series back in 2016 as well. Before he left Chicago, Lester went out with a bang by spending around $50,000 on beer tabs across the city as a way to say thanks to all of his fans. Seriously, what an incredible act of kindness.

Now, Lester is busy in D.C. making plays for the Nationals. Despite the fact that he’s no longer donning a Cubs jersey, you better believe thousands in Chicago are still rooting for the guy. He meant so much to the organization.

Next. If the Chicago Cubs want to fix their lineup, it’s time for some drastic changes. dark
