The Dallas Cowboys shared a video of their meeting with Kyle Pitts, convincing fans Jerry Jones is going to make a push to draft the Florida tight end.

With the No. 10 pick in the upcoming NFL Draft, the Cowboys are in an interesting position. They aren’t in the mix for the biggest prospects, but they’re set up to address a need with one of the top cornerbacks on the board if they want.

After the team released video clips from their meeting with Florida tight end Kyle Pitts, the idea of making a big move instead is gaining steam.

In the video, Pitts answers questions from team officials and gets a heap of praise from owner and GM Jerry Jones.

It’s clear Jones is a huge fan of Pitts. If Jerry wants him, Jerry may very well go and get him.

Cowboys fans want the team to go get Kyle Pitts

Cowboys fans appear to be riding the Pitts train hard.

The possibility of Pitts falling to No. 10 is practically zero. So if Dallas wants him, they’ll have to trade up into the Top 5.

That’s not to say everyone bought the idea of Dallas being committed to getting Pitts. Many wondered if maybe the question about the defender who covered him best meant something more. Perhaps the Cowboys were fishing for info on a defender to take at No. 10.

Pitts’ answer was Jaycee Horn from South Carolina. Pitts gave a whole scouting report on Horn, paying him compliment after compliment.

A consensus mock draft compiled by CBS Sports has the Cowboys nabbing Patrick Surtain II from Alabama at No. 10 after the Panthers picked Pitts at No. 8. While Surtain is the favorite to land with Dallas, Horn has also been a frequent selection in mock drafts.

Fans won’t have to wait much longer to find out which way Dallas goes. The draft is coming up fast.
