What does Tyreek Hill’s cryptic tweet mean?

Thanks to the loosening of the NFL’s uniform policy, football fans have a new addition to the offseason rumor mill: Uniform number changes.

Leave it to Tyreek Hill to lean all the way in from the jump.

Since being drafted out of West Alabama in 2016, wide receiver Tyreek Hill has worn the No. 10 jersey for the Kansas City Chiefs, but that could be changing.

With the NFL now allowing skill-position players to sport single digits, some marquee players could be switching jersey numbers this offseason. Hill quote tweeted Elon Musk on what he defines beauty as by saying, “Patrick drops back and floats a beautiful heave to a wide open number 6.” Does this mean Hill will go from the No. 10 jersey in Kansas City to the No. 6?

Should Hill switch up his jersey number this offseason with the Chiefs?

Kansas City Chiefs: Tyreek Hill may be looking to change his jersey number

If Hill were to switch his jersey number, he would have to buy up all the outstanding merchandise from the NFL. Because he is a five-time Pro Bowler with the Chiefs and a Super Bowl champion, this potential jersey swap seems a tad unnecessary. While no Chiefs player currently rocks the No. 6, Hill wore No. 11 at West Alabama and No. 24 previously when he was at Oklahoma State.

Overall, Hill can do whatever he wants in this situation. If he wants to pay a significant amount of money to buy up all the inventory of excess No. 10 Hill jerseys, he can do that. Perhaps the No. 6 has a deeper meaning than we realize for the Kansas City receiver? Regardless, this was a very creative way to potentially announce the Chiefs star could be switching up his jersey number.

If catching a wide-open touchdown pass from Patrick Mahomes in the No. 6 is perfection, so be it.
