Green Bay Packers fans are hoping general manager Brian Gutekunst won’t blow it and take wide receiver Elijah Moore in the first round of the NFL Draft.

What will Green Bay Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst do with his first-round pick on Thursday? Cheeseheads everywhere can’t wait to find out, as the hope is the team will use the first-rounder on a speedy wide receiver for Aaron Rodgers.

While there’s several outstanding options, Packers supporters have made it quite clear on social media that Ole Miss wide receiver Elijah Moore would be a dream selection for the team. Only time will tell if Gutekunst makes this happen.

Ole Miss wide receiver Elijah Moore would be a great addition for the Green Bay offense

Moore could be there for the Packers to take, and he’d no question be a solid get for the Packers. We’re sure you’ve heard this before, but Gutekunst lost countless fans last year when he selected quarterback Jordan Love in the first round.

Everyone was waiting for a playmaker to be added to the offense. Instead, the team took a signal-caller and didn’t use any draft picks on a wideout. Seriously? Rodgers had every right to be upset. This can’t be the case again this year.

Green Bay clearly needs help at receiver. While Davante Adams is arguably the best wideout in the game, he needs some help. Imagine a player of Moore’s speed opening up the field and flying down the gridiron to catch deep balls rom Rodgers. It’d almost be too good to be true.

Come Thursday, Gutekunst will have quite the decision on his hands. If you ask those who love Green Bay, it’s a no-brainer and he should go with Moore.
