A pair of Georgia football standouts could sneak into the first round of the NFL Draft.

There is a chance the Georgia football program has three players go in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft, including cornerbacks, Tyson Campbell and Eric Stokes after their strong pro days.

Outside linebacker Azeez Ojulari is pretty much a lock to be coming off the board somewhere in the 20s. He is one of the better pass rushers in this draft class. However, one anonymous NFL general manager tells Tom Pellisero of NFL Network there could be an early run on cornerbacks in the draft. If this does happen, it will allow guys like Campbell and Stokes to potentially crack the top 32 on Thursday.

Georgia football: Tyson Campbell, Eric Stokes are potential first-round sleepers

Given that they played their college ball for former All-SEC safety Kirby Smart, no doubt that Campbell and Stokes were coached up in Athens. Stokes’ foot speed and playmaking abilities in the back-end had him pressing towards the first round midway through the draft process. Campbell has elite man-cover skills and has been a fringe first-round prospect throughout.

Ultimately, the over/under of the first-round draft picks out of Georgia this year should be 1.5. Ojulari is a lock and it really depends on if you think either Campbell or Stokes can crack the top 32. This will come down to any 2020 playoff team feeling the need to address its defensive backfield in the first round. Though nowhere near the top three corners in this draft, they both could go round one.

It would not be shocking if a pair of Dawgs are drafted once again in the first round this spring.
