3. Baltimore Ravens

Rashod Bateman is the perfect wide receiver to round out Lamar Jackson’s receiving corps. Putting him in the same starting lineup with Marquise Brown and Sammy Watkins is going to cause real problems for opposing defenses in 2021.

Bateman has great speed which allows him to be productive on the outside or in the slot. His most impressive skill as a wide receiver is his precise route-running ability. That gives him the ability to create serious separation on a variety of routes.

Jackson is a quarterback that needs his wide receivers to create a little more room at times. Bateman should quickly evolve into his favorite target during his rookie campaign. Bateman will be more consistent than either Brown or Watkins despite his youth.

Some Ravens fans might have wanted to see their front office use their Round 1 selection on a pass rusher, but Bateman can turn into their No.1 wide receiver by the time the postseason rolls around. This selection si going to look great in retrospect. Bateman has a strong chance to be this year’s version of Justin Jefferson.
