As Aaron Rodgers pushes his way out of Green Bay, he’s got three teams he’d like to be traded to.

Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers seem to be at an impasse, with vague comments from the team and Rodgers openly wondering about his future. The San Francisco 49ers seem to have made a trade offer recently, including the third-overall pick in the draft Thursday night and quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo.

If Rodgers were available, and he’s reportedly made his desire not to be in Green Bay clear now, a conservative estimate of interested teams might be 20 if they could make it work. Pro Football Talk has suggested a trade could be done this weekend.

Also according to Pro Football Talk, Rodgers has a wish list of teams he’d like to be traded to. One of them appears to be off the board already.

Aaron Rodgers wants to go to one of three teams

Rodgers reportedly wanted the Packers to take the previously indicated 49ers’ offer. That, apparently, doesn’t necessarily mean they were No. 1 on his list, not necessarily followed by the Broncos and Raiders in that order.

The Broncos would seem to be out of the market for a veteran quarterback after acquiring Teddy Bridgewater. Maybe they’d send Drew Lock back to Green Bay for Rodgers, then they could have Bridgewater in his rightful place as a backup.

The Raiders are far more interesting as a landing spot for Rodgers. In Derek Carr, they have a solid quarterback they could trade to the Packers. Jon Gruden and Mike Mayock have slow-played replacing Carr, with a solid level of patience. Rodgers is an upgrade they can’t ignore if he’s available, heading into a season where the pressure to win is increasing.

Pending what they might do early in the draft, the New England Patriots would also stand as a possible landing spot for Rodgers. But that it’s even a conversation he could be headed elsewhere, with his wish list now out there, shows how much the Packers have mishandled the whole situation.
