According to Mark Schlereth, the Denver Broncos are on the verge of completing a trade to acquire star quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Some major, earth-shattering news could be on the way and Denver Broncos fans everywhere will be ready to celebrate. Could superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers be on his way to play for the AFC West squad?

According to former Broncos standout Mark Schlereth, his sources are telling him that John Elway and Co. are on the verge of pulling off a trade with the Green Bay Packers to land Rodgers. Folks, buckle up.

Aaron Rodgers could end up being traded to the Denver Broncos

Talk about a huge update. Earlier on Thursday, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that Rodgers has grown so upset with the front office, that he informed some members of the team that he’s ready to fully move on from the organization.

Since then, trade rumors have swirled, with the Broncos, 49ers and others being mentioned.

However, it looks like the Broncos are ready to make a move here. Should Rodgers make his way to the Mile High City, Denver would immediately become a major threat in the AFC. You think the Kansas City Chiefs want to see this happen? Absolutely not.

With that said, the showdowns between the two division rivals would be incredibly fun to watch, as Rodgers and Patrick Mahomes would be set to face off at least twice a year. For now, nothing has been finalized and we must wait to see if the Broncos and Packers end up pulling off a blockbuster trade.

Drew Lock is clearly not the answer for the Broncos, and while Teddy Bridgewater just arrived to town, he’s no Rodgers. Stay tuned to see if Rodgers ends up donning a Broncos jersey next campaign.
