According to recent news, Aaron Rodgers may not want to return to the Green Bay Packers.

One of the biggest storylines of the past offseason has been the status of Aaron Rodgers with the Green Bay Packers. On Thursday, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported at the San Francisco 49ers try to trade for the three-time MVP.

That could be because of the new that broke mere hours before the NFL Draft.

According to Schefter, Rogers is so disgruntled with the organization, someone has reported that she does not want to return to Green Bay for the 2021 season. The Packers are aware of his feelings and are concerned of his status moving forward.

Last April, Green Bay elected to move up in the 2020 NFL Draft to select Utah State’s Jordan Love. Many believe he will take over as the face of the franchise following the retirement of the 37-year-old in the coming years.

Rodgers though reset his clock when he finished the 2020 season with 4,299 passing yards and 48 touchdowns against five interceptions. Since the arrival of Matt LaFleur, Green Bay is 26-6 in the regular season.

Rogers has not budged on his stance with the organization. The Packers have not budged either, believing that they can get a job done with the franchise star for one more season. According to Shafter, the Packers have offered to even extend Rodgers’ contract.

The biggest thing though is the status of Rodgers’ personally. Should he be unhappy with the teams stance, that could be the end of his tenure in the frozen tundra.

In what feels to be a long time coming, Green Bay has now reached the iceberg. If they can’t mend the ship, they could be sinking without their captain at the helm. And hours before draft night, things have gotten interesting.
