Patrick Mahomes absolutely loves playing football for the Kansas City Chiefs.

With quarterback Aaron Rodgers supposedly no longer enjoying playing for the Green Bay Packers, Patrick Mahomes made it abundantly clear how much he likes playing for the Kansas City Chiefs.

As NFL Twitter was on the verge of exploding into a Mount Vesuvius fiery blaze and never fully recovering, Mahomes and his Chiefs teammate Chris Jones were among the many preparing to watch the internet world burn. Jones said he loves playing for the Chiefs. Mahomes quote tweeted his teammate by saying “me, too.” Not everybody can love their NFL lives as much as those in KC.

If purchasing a minority stake in the MLB‘s Kansas City Royals did not do the trick, this tweet did.

Patrick Mahomes sure does love playing football for the Kansas City Chiefs

As Rodgers wants to reportedly be traded out of town, Mahomes would love nothing more than to only play for the Chiefs in his sure-fire hall-of-fame career. Of course, Mahomes is still in the earliest days of his NFL career and this is a league where anything and everything can happen. For the time being and the foreseeable future, Mahomes should feel right at home in Kansas City.

For as long as the Hunt Family remain fantastic owners, Brett Veach continues to make great moves as general manager and head coach Andy Reid wants to keep dialing up cool plays, then there is no better place in the NFL world for a quarterback of Mahomes’ caliber. As the Packers are falling apart at the seams this offseason, Mahomes can sit back and enjoy the Twitter madness.

Here is to Mahomes and the Chiefs organization having a long and successful football marriage.
