Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is expected to return on Friday night against the Sacramento Kings.
The Los Angeles Lakers have been without star LeBron James since March 20, when he suffered a high right ankle sprain during a game against the Atlanta Hawks. Over one month later, “King James” is expected to make his return, ironically, against the Sacramento Kings on Friday night.
James’ return is contingent on pregame warmups going as expected. From there, the Lakers and James will make their decision prior to tipoff.
The Lakers have struggled since James went down with his ankle injury. It certainly did not help that the team lost Anthony Davis to right leg injuries the month prior. With James on the sidelines, the Lakers have gone 8-12 and have slipped down to the fifth-seed in the Western Conference as of this writing.
