Seattle Seahawks

If there was one position that the Seattle Seahawks did not need to address in this draft, it was wide receiver. That’s the luxury of fielding Tyler Lockett and D.K. Metcalf.

That didn’t stop the Seahawks from making one of the more puzzling selections in this entire draft, with their first choice, Western Michigan’s D’Wayne Eskridge in Round 2.

Ekskridge was the focal point of Western Michigan’s passing game, taking up 85 percent of the target share, and he averaged 14.4 yards per reception ,but this feels like a luxury pick, particularly given Seattle’s dire need to shore up the offensive line in front of Russell Wilson.

Los Angeles Rams

The Los Angeles Rams seem like they spent too much time lounging by that NFL Draft House’s swimming pool, and not enough time studying the board.

Sans first-round pick, the Rams reached with their second-round choice, wide receiver Tutu Atwell, who has plenty of speed but at 5-foot-9 and 160 pounds, it is fair to wonder how he’ll hold up going over the middle against NFL defenses.

Then, in Round 3, the Rams passed up potential starting linebackers to take a project in South Carolina’s Ernest Jones, who will struggle to contribute right away.
