Who won the Kentucky Derby 2021? 

For the first time in over a year, the Kentucky Derby was run with spectators in the crowd.

Last year’s race was done virtually and for charity, and the actual running of the Kentucky Derby was postponed until September. So if you feel like we just saw the Derby run it’s because we did. But now that America has turned a major corner in combating COVID-19, with vaccinations readily available and the number of Americans who have been vaccinated rising, we got to experience a little bit of normalcy on Saturday.

The hats were there, the Mint Julips were plentiful, and the race was exactly the type of sight sore eyes needed.

Who won Kentucky Derby 2021?

Medina Spirit crossed the finish line first in what was one of the closest races we’ve had at the Derby in a while.
