Ahead of the scheduled showdown between Liverpool and Manchester United, fans have stormed Old Trafford in protest of the Glazer family.
The scenes are nothing short of wild outside of Old Trafford right now. On Sunday, Manchester United and Liverpool were all set to face off at 11:30 am ET in another showdown for one of the biggest rivalries in all of soccer/football.
Instead, the game has been postponed after Manchester United fans broke out a massive protest, which ultimately led to countless folks making their way inside the stadium and onto the pitch. These people are furious with the Glazer family (team owners) and they’re letting the world know about it.
One of the protesters outside Manchester United stadium Old Trafford says the protest "isn't just about the European Super League", adding that the Glazer family, which has controlled the club since 2005, "need to go".

Manchester United fans are calling for the Glazers to sell the club
The Glazers have been hated by United fans for a while now, but things reached a new level when the team tried to breakaway from things and join the Super League. As soon as that league folded, it was a complete and total embarrassment for the club, with the Glazers at the head of the drama.
With so much madness going on in Manchester right now, you better believe there are loads of reactions to this all over social media too.
Gary Neville, Roy Keane, Micah Richards and Jamie Carragher ALL maintaining that the protests inside Old Trafford were peaceful.

Expected criticism from Souness but good to see Sky Sports pundits refusing to put the boot in. They understand where this anger comes from.

"Fans have a say and voices should be heard, but this is not what we want to see, that's not peaceful protesting."

The hope was that the two teams would be able to play on Sunday, but with things officially postponed, we’ll have to wait an undetermined amount of time to see the two European giants take the field. The protestors were hoping to send a loud message to the clubs ownership. It’s safe to say they’ve accomplished that goal.
