The Browns managed to bring in a ton of talent via the 2021 NFL Draft. Here are Cleveland’s best three picks from a stellar weekend of work.

Picking the three best picks for the Browns’ 2021 NFL Draft class was really difficult. Cleveland found great value with almost every pick at their disposal. Browns fans should be thrilled with all the talent heading their way.

The team’s front office had the luxury of heading into the draft without being overly concerned with need. Free agency filled the obvious holes on the roster. That left Cleveland with the flexibility to take the best player available with every pick at their disposal.

The results were nothing short of awesome. The Browns landed several potential stars and numerous guys capable of impacting their two-deep right away. It was a masterclass in how to execute a draft plan. Read on to discover the best three picks from Cleveland’s exceptional class.

3. Greg Newsome

Selecting Newsome in Round 1 raised some eyebrows inside the Browns’ passionate fan base, but he’s a terrific prospect. Landing a player capable of being a starting cornerback as a rookie at the end of the first round was great value for Cleveland.

The Browns’ brain trust correctly understands that it’s impossible to have too many quality pass defenders in the modern NFL. Cornerback wasn’t an area of intense need for Cleveland, but Newsome’s value was just too much to pass up at No. 26. It might take the former Northwestern star a little while to grab a starting spot in Cleveland, but he’ll be a valuable contributor from Day 1.
