One-half of the Champions League final will be determined on Tuesday as Manchester City host Paris Saint-Germain at Ethiad Stadium. The Citizens came from behind to win 2-1 in Paris in the first leg. While City enter the second leg with the advantage, PSG have been excellent in their away games in the Champions League.
Manchester City are unbeaten in their 11 Champions League games. The Champions League title is the only title that has eluded the Citizens but there is reason to believe that this will be the year they finally win it. Manager Pep Guardiola decided to play rest many of his key starters over the weekend, beating Crystal Palace 2-0. The extra rest should only benefit City as they chase their first appearance in the Champions League final. City have been successful this season because they have so many different attacking options. Seven different players have scored at least nine goals.
PSG are looking to return to the Champions League final for the second straight season. Manager Mauricio Pochettino was able to rotate his squad over the weekend, beating Lens 2-1 to remain one point behind Lille in the Ligue 1 title race with three games remaining. The Parisians have actually been better in their away games in the Champions League, beating Manchester United, Barcelona, and Bayern Munich this season. Paris Saint-Germain will require another away win if they want to get another chance to win their first Champions League title.
