The Jaguars are putting their franchise on Trevor Lawrence’s shoulders
It’s a good thing Lawrence looks good in that Jacksonville uniform because the team intends for him to wear it for a long time to come.
The Jaguars are banking on Lawrence being as good in the NFL as he was in college and high school. He’s been a highly-touted prospect at just about every level of football, parlaying his five-star status in high school to a national championship and All-American honors with Clemson.
It’s widely accepted Lawrence will be a star in the NFL. His chance to prove it has been a long time coming.
Since the NFL has yet to release the complete 2021 schedule, Jacksonville doesn’t know their first opponent for the coming campaign. What they can be pretty certain about is that Lawrence will be the quarterback leading their team when the season opens.
Soon enough, fans will get to appreciate pictures of Lawrence throwing passes in practice. Then will come the games and who knows what else. Jags fans can dare to dream.
