The Chicago White Sox’s injury woes have created a serious need in the outfield. The solution is to bring up a prospect and drop a struggling pitcher.

The White Sox aren’t where they want to be in 2021.

Sure, they’re in the thick of the battle for the AL Central, but they’ve been cursed with injury troubles and trail the Indians at the top of the division.

Moves will need to be made if they want to keep up.

The prospect the White Sox should call up

Ideally, the answer to this question would be Yoelqui Cespedes, the brother of Yoenis Cespedes and the White Sox top outfield prospect available.

Unfortunately, the 23-year-old isn’t available yet because of unresolved issues with his visa. Once those are dealt with, he’ll be someone to keep an eye out for.

However, Cespedes isn’t the answer to Chicago’s need in the outfield at this moment. That’s why Micker Adolfo should get a look.

Adolfo had a rough start to his stint with the Birmingham Barons. However, he sent his first hit of the season into the stands for a home run in his third outing.

He may not be a sure thing, but it would be worth giving him a shot to show what he’s got with Luis Robert likely to miss the rest of the season.
