Russell Westbrook broke Oscar Robertson’s record for triple doubles and made history yet again.

On Monday night against the Atlanta Hawks, Russell Westbrook recorded the 182nd triple-double of his career, officially surpassing Oscar “Mr. Triple-Double” Robertson, who held the previous record of 181. Robertson has owned the triple-doubles record since 1961-62, the same season that he became the first player to average a triple-double.

The Washington Wizards guard was two rebounds away from the feat in the fourth quarter but finally got his 10th rebound about three minutes in. He finished his night with 28 points, 21 assists and 13 rebounds.

Just two days ago, Westbrook tied Robertson’s record while also gaining important ground in the standings for the Wizards. Washington beat the Indiana Pacers and in doing so, secured the ninth seed in the Eastern Conference while also beating their potential play-in opponent.

Westbrook has been red-hot in his first season as a Wizard, registering his 35th triple-double this season. Last month, he had 14 triple-doubles, the most in NBA history. While the Wizards didn’t get the win on Monday, his lifetime record in triple-double performances is still pretty darn good:

To all his haters, to all those who recreate memes of him just for fun, Westbrook rises above and proves he’s one of the league’s best, and he will continue breaking records for as long as he plays.
