Tyrell Antar Cohen, 25, the twin brother of Chicago Bears running back Tarik Cohen, was found dead on Sunday after he was electrocuted.
Chicago Bears running back Tarik Cohen is in mourning after the death of his twin brother, Tyrell Antar Cohen on Sunday.
The Bears running back asked for help on Twitter over the weekend locating his twin brother who was missing. On Sunday, Tyrell was found dead at the Duke Energy substation in North Carolina.
An employee found the body and deputies with the Wake County Sheriff’s Office responded to the call at 9 a.m. with initial reports saying he was electrocuted while climbing equipment in an attempt to flee from law enforcement after an attempted traffic stop.

Brother of Bears’ Tarik Cohen found dead
The Chicago Bears released the following statement:
“We are heartbroken to learn of the death of Tarik Cohen’s twin brother, Tyrell. Our immediate thoughts and prayers go out to Tarik, his mother, Tilwanda, and the rest of their family and loved ones. On behalf of the entire Bears family, we extend our most heartfelt sympathies to all who mourn his loss.”
