AFC North . . Pittsburgh Steelers . 4. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 55. player

The race for the AFC playoffs is actually a lot tighter after the top two teams. Going into the season, Kansas City and Buffalo seem to be the favorites to win the top seed. There’s about nine other teams fighting for six spots in the remainder of the playoff picture.

If Lock is above average, Denver should likely be in play for the No. 6 or No. 7 seed. They’ll have to take down Pittsburgh though to win out in the overall standings and keep the edge.

Pittsburgh’s offseason was much of a regression from its 11-0 run to begin 2020. They’ll be replacing three offensive linemen, several defensive starters and hope that Ben Roethlisberger can improve. Despite having a loaded arsenal with the addition of running back Najee Harris, no one knows if the veteran can even throw the ball further than five yards.

Roethlisberger last year average 6.3 yards per throw. Most of the work was done after the catch.

Much like against the Cowboys, Denver’s defense will have an opportunity to attack early and often against the aging star. If Bradley Chubb and Von Miller can add pressure towards the edge, expect Big Ben to throw multiple interceptions along the way in tight coverage.

This isn’t just a game Denver should win, it’s one they should handle outright if they truly have improved.
