Denver Broncos 2021 schedule predictions: Picking every game
The Denver Broncos could be in for another long season come 2021 unless they dramatically improve on offense.
After going 5-11 last year, Denver Broncos fans have been praying to the football Gods that the team would make some major improvements this offseason. Thus far, not enough has been done to make the team a serious contender in the AFC West.
While they added veteran signal-caller Teddy Bridgewater, that doesn’t look to be enough to unseat Drew Lock as the starter. And while Aaron Rodgers rumors have floated, don’t expect the Green Bay standout to make his way to Denver. With that said, what can fans expect from the team in 2021?
Denver’s offseason hasn’t been even close to good enough
If some magic happens and Rodgers indeed lands with the team, then the Broncos would immediately become serious contenders in the AFC. As things stand, though, that’s not the case. Regardless of whether Lock or Bridgewater lines up under center, neither is going to instill any kind of fear into the Kansas City Chiefs.
With the squad going 5-11 last year too, it’s really feeling like the Broncos could be headed for another similar campaign. Defensively, the addition of cornerback Ronald Darby was questionable and some are calling it the worst move of the offseason for the organization. At this point, the thought of the postseason for Denver seems beyond unlikely, with us picking them to go 6-11.
