Green Bay Packers 2021 NFL schedule: 5 must-win games

These five games rate as must-win contests for the Green Bay Packers in 2021.

There may not be an organization in the NFL under more pressure in 2021 than the Green Bay Packers. A second straight loss in the NFC Championship Game wasted an MVP performance from Aaron Rodgers, forcing Green Bay to go back to the drawing board again.

A weak NFC North could help the Packers’ quest to win the division again, but they will need to do more than just that in order to get back to the NFC title game and beyond. Let’s take a look at five regular-season games that Green Bay will have to win in 2021, beginning with a key division rivalry.

5. At Minnesota Vikings

The Packers lost only three games in the 2020 regular season but one of those came to the Minnesota Vikings. Even though the franchise was in the midst of a lost campaign, Dalvin Cook managed to gash Green Bay’s run defense for 163 yards and three touchdowns in a 28-22 win.

A year of development for Minnesota’s young defender should make them even more of a threat in the division, making it imperative for the Packers to take care of business against one of their bitter rivals. Finding a way to take care of business against the Vikings is extremely important if Green Bay wants to find a way to win its division once again.
