New England Patriots 2021 Schedule: 5 must-win games
Was there really a doubt it was someone else?
Since 2000, New England has ran the NFL due to two men; Belichick and Brady. Last offseason, the couple filed for divorce and Belichick kept the house while Brady moved to Florida. Everyone wondered who would be the winner of the breakup?
In the short term, it was Brady thanks to a 31-9 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LV. In the long term? That still remains to be unknown.
Belichick spent the entire offseason solidifying his offense to be successful. They’ll need that against one of the league’s top defense which will return all 11 starters. Not only that, the six-time Super Bowl winning coach will have a chance to go up against the seven-time Super Bowl winning quarterback.
In what feels like a TV movie made in the 1990s come to life, one of the two will be viewed as the villain while the other is the hero. The age old question has been which needed the other more? Come the final seconds, one could finally have the answer.
This could be the one shot to have an opportunity to go against each other. Best believe the entire country will be watching this game close on the biggest stage of the weekend.
