5 reasons the Philadelphia 76ers can win the 2021 NBA championship

The Philadelphia 76ers might be one of the most disrespected teams going into the playoffs. Here’s why they could win their fourth title.
The Philadelphia 76ers have largely been cut out of the playoff conversation despite taking the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference. Part of the reason is a pairing of Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons just isn’t as appealing as KD and Irving or Lebron and AD, but the 76ers have one of the best records in the league and could very well make it all the way.
Following a narrow win against the Pelicans and a loss to the Pacers in the last week, the 76ers haven’t been playing their best basketball, and, granted, that doesn’t bode well for their form in the postseason. Philadelphia has won championships in 1955, 1967, and 1983 and have 51 playoff appearances, and even though they’re coming into 2021 with a newly branded identity, their elite squad and their know-how to win games will make them an underrated force to be reckoned with.
Simply put, Philadelphia deserves more respect going into the playoffs, and these are the reasons they could overtake the favorites and win it all.
