The regular season is over, so it’s time to make some final picks for 2021 NBA awards, including MVP, Rookie of the Year and more.

With the 2020-21 regular season in the rearview mirror, NBA awards season is officially upon us!

While we won’t know the final tallies on the votes for MVP, Rookie of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year and more, the end of the regular season means it’s time to stew over the potential options for each individual honor.

Should Nikola Jokic or Joel Embiid win MVP, or is there an outside candidate with a puncher’s chance of pulling off the unlikely upset? Will LaMelo Ball or Anthony Edwards ultimately win ROY? And who takes home DPOY, Sixth Man of the Year, Most Improved Player and Coach of the Year awards?

In order to answer these questions, and with the 72-game season officially over, here’s a look at my picks among the top candidates for each NBA award.
