1. Let Steph Curry go wild

Curry is already averaging 32 points per game and ended the regular season with 46 points to help the Dubs land the No. 8 seed in the West. There’s no reason why he can’t put up those kinds of elite numbers every single night in the playoffs.

There is no Thompson and no Kevin Durant this time around. Curry is the lone star, and his best counterpart, Green, loves to feed him the ball and rack up assists.

The Warriors need to win or lose because of Curry. That is not to say the other role players should be ignored. We already identified the opposite as a key in this postseason. But Curry needs to be taking the big shots we have all seen him hit before.

The potential first-round matchups are young teams in the Utah Jazz and Phoenix Suns. Few people or teams in the NBA can match Curry’s playoff experience, and the Jazz and Suns may not know what to do if he starts heating up early in a series.

There is nothing more rattling than having a good defensive possession, only for Curry to make a shot from 30 feet away.

The Warriors need to win a play-in game first. After that, the fun can start as they continue on in a new era.
