5. Best helmet in college football: UNC’s clean look

UNC’s white helmets with the Carolina Blue NC logo and the argyle patterned stripe are simply beautiful. It was tough to choose between the white lid and the Carolina Blue but I opted with the white because it just pops a tad bit more. I’m glad to see this helmet has received plenty of respect in the uniform game as fans everywhere seem to think this helmet is top tier.

4. Best helmet in college football: Air Force strikes big

I’m going with a basic design here but sometimes basic and simple is very, very good. Air Force helmets have always been elite to me, ever since I was a little kid. The primary Air Force helmet is just a blue lightning bolt on a white helmet. That’s it. Excellent. It just looks sick and I love it. The Chargers have arguably the best helmet in the NFL, another simple design. Some of the best looks are simplistic, Air Force proves this. Many will ponder why Air Force uses a lightning bolt, they’ll tell you it’s a lame look. Others will tell you it’s one of the best looks in the sport. Which side are you on?
