1. 3-point woes

Yes, James hit a clutch 3-pointer while allegedly seeing three rims to win the game for the Lakers. But that does not take away from the fact that the Lakers were pretty dreadful from behind the arc on Thursday night.

Throughout the regular-season, the Lakers shot 35.4 percent from the 3-point line, which ranked 21st in the entire NBA. Facing off against the Warriors, the Lakers shot 10-for-31 from beyond the arc (32.3 percent)

As mentioned earlier, Drummond did anything but help Los Angeles’ production when he was on the court. With Drummond clogging the lane, Davis settled for mid-range jump shots, since there weren’t very many 3-point threats on the court for him to pass the ball to.

The Lakers simply have to produce from long distance, especially since they are facing a Suns team with the seventh-highest 3-point percentage in the league (37.8 percent). If they can not do that, the Lakers’ quest for a repeat may end prematurely.
