Cowboys fans will love who’s presenting Drew Pearson into the Hall-of-Fame
Dallas Cowboys legend Doug Pearson has confirmed that Roger Staubach will be the one to present him into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Come early August, life will officially change in a big way for Dallas Cowboys hero Drew Pearson. That’s because the former superstar is all set to head to Canton and be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
It’s going to be a special night for Pearson, his family and Cowboys nation. On top of that, things are going to be even more emotional once Dallas supporters find out who will be the one to present him: Roger Staubach.
Roger Staubach inducting Drew Pearson into the Hall-of-Fame is incredible
The two are former teammates, of course, and created magic whenever they were on the field. With Staubach throwing dimes to Pearson, they were a nightmare to deal with for opposing defenses. In total, Pearson played in three Super Bowls for the Cowboys, helping the team win it all back in 1978.
In his 12 seasons in the NFL, all with the Cowboys, Pearson recorded 489 receptions for 7,822 yards and 48 touchdowns. He was named First-Team All-Pro three times, while also earning Pro Bowl honors in three different campaigns as well.
Pearson is a living legend and Dallas fans adore him. Remember in the 2017 NFL Draft when Pearson trolled the heck out of the fans in Philadelphia? Sure you do. Jerry Jones and Co. loved seeing it, as did every Cowboys fan out there. It was simply sensational.

Goodness me, that announcement from Pearson certainly had everyone in Dallas ready to run through a wall. With his amazing personality, you better believe he’ll have quite the speech coming this summer at his Hall-of-Fame induction. With Staubach, a fellow Hall-of-Famer, introducing him, there are bound to be plenty of tears being shed.
