Rapper Aaron Carter was dropped with a body shot ahead of his celebrity boxing match with former NBA player, Lamar Odom, which takes place June 12.

With just three weeks to go before his scheduled celebrity boxing match with ex-NBA star, Lamar Odom, Aaron Carter was captured getting dropped with a body shot in sparring.

The video can be seen below, as it was featured on The Jason Ellis Show near the end of episode 22. At press time, the podcast has 7,393 views and 519 likes. Carter was featured on the show prior to the sparring clip being played.

Carter was criticized for his lack of preparation for the bout, which is scheduled to take place June 12 in Atlantic City, N.J., and will be promoted by Damon Feldman.

Carter was supposedly not taking training seriously, according to Carter’s coach, Josh Polit, who was one of Ellis’s guests on the show. With his lack of experience, Carter might not be able to withstand a shot of that caliber, which isn’t a good sign with less than three weeks to go before the bout finally takes place.

The fight continues this new trend of celebrity boxing matches during 2021, and only time will tell if this brand of boxing will remain relevant for years to come.
