The Bucks survived a tough challenge from the Miami Heat to take Game 1 at Fiserv Forum over the weekend. Can the Heat strike back in Game 2?

Jimmy Butler’s tough shooting night was too much to overcome for the Miami Heat, despite their star’s heroics to send the game to overtime on a driving layup past Giannis Antetokounmpo. Miami beat the Bucks in the bubble last season, so this serves as a revenge series for Antetokounmpo and Milwaukee, even if they won’t admit it publicly.

Antetokounmpo poured in 26 points in Game 1, but it was his supporting cast that stepped up to the challenge to give the Bucks the win. Khris Middleton, the game’s leading scorer, had 27 points and scored the game-winning bucket with just seconds remaining in overtime.

Jrue Holiday was a major problem for the Heat. Not only did he score 20 points, but it was his defense on the Heat backcourt that limited Butler to just 17 points on an abysmal shooting night. Holiday was acquired for his two-way game, and his forms a unique Big 3 for a Milwaukee team with championship aspirations.
