2021 NCAA Softball Tournament bracket: Super Regional schedule, predictions for Women’s College World Series
By Ethan Lee
With the regionals all wrapped up, the 2021 NCAA Softball Tournament is now headed on to the Super Regional Round.
It wasn’t that long ago when 64 teams were competing against each other in the 2021 NCAA Softball Tournament. That number has now been reduced down to 16 teams following the conclusion of the Regional round.
Now, those 16 teams will be involved in Super Regionals, a series that pits the victors of two Regionals against each other in a best-of-three series. Whatever teams comes out on top of that Super Regional will then be heading on to Oklahoma City to compete in the 2021 Women’s College World Series.
And so, there are currently 16 teams left in the 2021 NCAA Softball Tournament, but soon there will only be eight. Those eight will play in OKC in hopes of winning a national title.
