Montreal Canadiens goaltender Carey Price robbed Toronto Maple Leafs winger William Nylander with an impressive save on Thursday.

The Toronto Maple Leafs entered Thursday night with one goal — win and they advance to the second-round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The team has not reached that point since they did so back in 2004. Montreal Canadiens goaltender Carey Price is, let’s just say, making life hard for the Leafs in Game 5.

Maple Leafs winger William Nylander coasted into Montreal’s zone, avoided a sliding block from defenseman Joel Edmundson and unleashed a shot towards Price. The veteran goalie did not even flinch when staring down Nylander, as he robbed him with an impressive glove save.

Canadiens: Carey Price makes impressive save on William Nylander

Price has ice in his veins. This latest save comes two games following his athletic diving stop on Maple Leafs center Jason Spezza in Game 3, many calling it the save of the entire NHL season.

The Leafs have the chance to exercise their playoff demons with one more win in the first-round. But Price is playing the role of the proverbial roadblock sign in Toronto’s path to a second-round matchup against the Winnipeg Jets.
