Celtics fans troll Kyrie Irving with NSFW chant in Game 4 (Video)
Boston Celtics fans are really letting Kyrie Irving have it, including delivering an NSFW chant for him ahead of the opening tip.
Those Boston Celtics fans really know how to try and get under someone’s skin, don’t they? Already on Sunday, those supporters are working overtime trying to get in the heads of Brooklyn Nets stars Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving.
First, folks in the stands were trolling Durant during his pre-game warm-ups. Now, people have shifted their focus to former Boston guard Kyrie Irving, delivering a chant that you’re not going to want to repeat with any young children in the room.
Kyrie Irving is getting plenty of hate from Boston Celtics fans at TD Garden
Goodness, these fans really aren’t holding back, with the ‘(expletive) Kyrie’ chants being loud and clear. This is no surprise, as Celtics supporters have made it quite clear they don’t miss Irving suiting up for the team at all.
Entering Game 4, Brooklyn holds a 2-1 series lead, but the Celtics and Jayson Tatum are ready to get things going on Sunday and try to even up the series. There’s no question everyone inside TD Garden is ready to rock too, as they’ll look to keep savaging Durant and Irving whenever they have the ball.
You’re surely mistaken if you thought the chant shown above is where things would end. The Boston faithful are going after Irving and they’re going after him hard.
Those boos and hateful words are only going to continue and get even louder throughout the action. Game 4 was already set to be a thriller, but things have gotten even more interesting now. We’ll see if Irving is able to ignore all of this and go on to ball out in this one.
