After struggling on the road in the first two games of their best-of-seven series, the Boston Celtics were able to pull out a win at home over the Brooklyn Nets on Friday night.
Thanks to Jayson Tatum’s incredible 50-point performance, the Celtics were able to keep their playoff dreams alive against the heavily-favored Nets. While Boston played in the Eastern Conference Finals last year, that was down in the NBA bubble, and Brooklyn has a completely different feel to it with the offensive hydra of Kevin Durant, James Harden and Kyrie Irving front and center.

Even though the Nets dropped Game 3 on Friday night, all the pressure is on the Celtics to hold serve and win this one at home.
If the Nets take Game 4, they have a terrific chance to close out this best-of-seven series early next week in Game 5 at Barclays Center. Should the Celtics tie this series up at two games apiece, there is a chance the luck of the Irish might be on the side of Boston. It becomes a new best-of-three series from that point on. Boston is a big underdog, but the Celtics do have playoff experience.
