4. T Martinas Rankins

A year ago, the Chiefs showed why it was important that a team not only have a strong offensive line but depth as well. In 2019, the club obtained Martinas Rankin from the Houston Texans in exchange for running back Carlos Hyde. He started five games at guard later that year and in Kansas City’s 2020 regular-season finale he opened at left tackle in place of Eric Fisher.

Of course, the latter is no longer with the club along with starting right tackle Mitchell Schwartz. This offseason, the organization swung a deal with the Ravens for Orlando Brown Jr. and he’s take over on the left side. Rankin has appeared in just seven regular-season contests in two years with the club.

3. WR Byron Pringle

Even with Sammy Watkins moving onto the Ravens, Andy Reid’s club is still pretty stacked at wide receiver. Of course, there’s the big-play ability and production of Tyreek Hill, who can reach the end zone in a variety of ways. A fifth-round pick from West Alabama from 2016, he’s totaled a combined 53 receiving and rushing touchdowns in 74 regular-season games, to go along with five more on special teams.

Wideouts Mecole Hardman and Demarcus Robinson have flashed their talent on both offense and returns and in the fifth round this year, the club added Clemson’s Cornell Powell. The latter’s arrival could make it tough for Byron Pringle to retain a spot on the roster.
