Find out how to get your money back following the Showtime app crashing during Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul.
It appears ShowTime is experiencing technical difficulties as it struggles to broadcast the circus of a fight that is boxing Hall of Famer Floyd Mayweather vs. YouTube star Logan Paul.
Quite a number of people across Twitter who ordered the pay-per-view through the ShowTime app are stating their streams have continuously crashed since the broadcast began at 8 p.m. ET.
With so many frustrations in ordering Mayweather vs. Paul, and the expectation of as smooth an experience as possible, it’s no surprise that many will be upset and angry, and may want refunds on their purchase right away.
Will you be able to get a refund due to the ShowTime app technical difficulties for Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul?
For those who are spending their hard-earned money on this kind of fight (regardless of why you want to watch this card), it may feel like ShowTime is taking your $50 and running away with it.
ShowTime’s refund policy for pay-per-view events says nothing about technical difficulties, but it mentions that if an event is canceled, “and you purchased the event through the SHOWTIME app, you will automatically be refunded in full to the payment method you used when you purchased the event. Refunds may take time to be credited to your account. Please allow at least 14 days for your refund to be processed. Refund processing times may vary depending on your billing method.”
This isn’t the first time a major combat sports pay-per-view event had technical difficulties, as a similar situation happened during UFC 257 in January.
