The Mississippi State Bulldogs are looking to lock up a Super Regional while the Campbell Fighting Camels need a win to continue their season in the 2021 NCAA Baseball Tournament.
If the Mississippi State Bulldogs are going to make it to their third consecutive Super Regional, they’ll have to find a way to get through a Campbell Fighting Camels team that is seeking to prove itself against a college baseball powerhouse.
The Bulldogs, who had a rough time in the SEC Tournament, haven’t had any issues in the Starkville Regional so far. Mississippi State made quick work of Samford in its first game, winning 8-4, and then thrashed the VCU Rams in its second game, with the Bulldogs winning 16-4.
Campbell hasn’t had as easy of a time in Starkville, but the Fighting Camels are still proving to be a solid team. Campbell lost its first game of the Regional, falling 19-4 against VCU. They then turned around and beat Samford 16-13 and then handed VCU a trip home by beating the Rams 19-10.
Now the Fighting Camels and the Bulldogs will face off. Given how things have played out up to this point, there’s a good chance that a few runs will be scored during the game.
Here’s what you need to watch the Mississippi State Bulldogs and the Campbell Fighting Camels.

Mississippi State has high hopes this season. After proving to be one of the best teams in the Southeastern Conference this year, the Bulldogs are hoping to make it all the way to Omaha for the College World Series. But first, MSU needs to take care of Campbell.
That may not be so easily done, but the Bulldogs have two shots to get one win. Meanwhile, Campbell can’t afford to lose. If the Fighting Camels fall during this game, they’re eliminated, and MSU moves on.
