Hogan tried out for Cannons LC after he went unselected in the PLL’s draft earlier this year. On June 1, the former NFL wideout officially made the club’s 25-man roster to start the season.

The last time Hogan played lacrosse was back in 2009, playing for the Penn State Nittany Lions. Hogan posted a team-high 29 goals in 14 games, while also tallying five assists. Hogan would then transfer to Monmouth the following season to play football.

Hogan was not selected in the 2011 NFL Draft, where he signed on with the San Francisco 49ers, albeit briefly. After limited stints with the New York Giants and Miami Dolphins, Hogan caught on with the Buffalo Bills, where he spent the better part of four years. Then, he joined the Patriots from 2016 until 2018, where he won two Super Bowl titles.

Through his career, Hogan recorded 216 receptions for 2,795 yards and 18 touchdowns. In his last official NFL season, the wideout tallied 14 catches for 118 yards in five games with the Jets.
