Bucks fans chant “F KD” after P.J. Tucker scuffle with Kevin Durant and security guard (Video)
Things got heated between Milwaukee Bucks forward P.J. Tucker, Kevin Durant and a security guard during Game 3.
With the Milwaukee Bucks down 2-0 in their second-round playoff series against the Brooklyn Nets, Game 3 always figured to be a heated environment. But after a scuffle between P.J. Tucker, Kevin Durant and an overzealous security guard, things kicked up to another notch.
In the third quarter on Thursday night, Tucker and KD got in each other’s faces and had some words after a foul was called on Tucker.
Both could be seen mouthing the word “b***h” at each other, but instead of being calmly separated to let cooler heads prevail, one security guard came storming in and escalated matters, shoving Tucker and forcing more teammates to get involved to separate the two sides.
With the Bucks showing both figurative and literal fight in Game 3, their fanbase showed their appreciation by directing a not-so-friendly chant in Durant’s direction:
Bucks fans let Kevin Durant hear it after scuffle with P.J. Tucker
Honestly, this is just good ol’ fashioned playoff basketball. While the crowd chant is probably taking it a step too far, Durant and Tucker weren’t going to swing on each other. Things really escalated thanks to the security guard, but whatever the case was, the heated incident fired up the home fans.
The Bucks held a 30-9 lead at one point in the first quarter, but watched it get whittled down quickly in the second. No team has ever come back from a 3-0 deficit in an NBA playoff series, so the Bucks need to take Game 3 at home to have any realistic chance at competing with this Nets powerhouse.
