Florida State and Oklahoma softball teams play for the national championship on Thursday. Here’s what you need to know and how you can watch the Women’s College World Series.
With a stellar performance Wednesday evening, the Oklahoma Sooners forced a game three against the Florida State Seminoles in the Women’s College World Series finals.
The Seminoles grabbed an early 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning thanks to a two-run home run. Up until the late innings, it appeared as if Florid State was going to wrap up the Women’s College World Series in just two games.
But, Oklahoma was able to bounce back from that 2-0 deficit by getting one run back in the top of the third and then charging ahead by scoring four runs in the top of the sixth. In the midst of the scoring charge, OU’s Jocelyn Alo hit a two-run shot of her own to give the Sooners the lead. Oklahoma went on to win 6-2.
Now just one game remains in the 2021 Women’s College World Series. The Seminoles and the Sooners will play one last time. The winner claims the national championship.
Here’s what you need to watch FSU and OU in the WCWS.

Despite a solid, noteworthy performance from Florida State pitcher Kathryn Sandercock, the Sooners found their offense and were able to get rolling against FSU late. Oklahoma will be looking to do more of the same when they face Florida State Thursday afternoon.
