Aaron Carter vs Lamar Odom: Twitter reacts to worst boxing match in history

Former pop sensation Aaron Carter fought Lamar Odom on Friday night, and the end result will make your eyes bleed.

Friday night was not “Aaron’s Party”, nor was candy delivered to his household. Instead, he got a steady helping of Lamar Odom’s boxing glove in his face.

Carter was incredibly confident before the fight.

“I just wanna let you guys know that I’m not just a music producer, an entertainer, a singer, a dancer. I’m also a fighter. I grew up street fighting and I’m really looking forward to this match. But my dad always said, ‘the bigger they are the harder they fall.’ So, Lamar, I’ll see you there bro,” Carter said.

It didn’t work out for him.

Odom against Carter feels like an unfair fight to begin with, based purely on the size differential. I’m not sure who put this together, nor do I care. On a night filled with sports entertainment, it was this terrible, awful thing which went viral just prior to the midnight hour.

Not the NBA Playoffs, not baseball on a night with Jacob deGrom and Shohei Ohtani pitching. Nope! Aaron Carter vs. Lamar Odom.

It’s a sad state of affairs in boxing when money matters so much that we’ll pit these two non-fighters against each other for entertainment. It’s even worse when fans pay to watch, or in some cases attend. Floyd Mayweather vs Logan Paul was nothing compared to this.

Odom is a full 239.5 pounds, while Carter is under 180.

Atlantic City hosted the fight, probably because Las Vegas wouldn’t.

And we thought 2020 was bad.
