The Commodores are ready for the challenge ECU brings them.
The Pirates may not play in one of the toughest conferences out there, but ECU didn’t have any issue handling almost every foe it faced with ease. Like Vanderbilt, ECU arrives in Nashville boasting a 43-15 overall record, but the Pirates went 20-8 against their conference opponents.
The AAC doesn’t have the same sort of reputation that the SEC does when it comes to NCAA baseball, but it’s still an accomplishment to get through conference play with that sort of record.
