Glen Davis could care less about Kyrie Irving suffering his ankle injury on Sunday
Tell us how you really feel, Mr. Davis. The former Boston forward made it more than clear that he’s not concerned whatsoever about Irving’s injury. Instead, he let the guard know he’s pretty darn furious over Irving stomping on the team’s logo earlier this spring.
It’s no secret folks in Boston hate Irving, as they were booing him and yelling expletives toward him whenever the two teams were doing battle at the TD Garden. Despite spending multiple seasons with Boston and making countless big shots for the team, there’s no love lost between the two sides.
Davis helped Boston win the 2008 NBA Finals. The organization will always hold a special place in his heart. That’s why he was so upset with Irving and his behavior at the Garden. For him to take pleasure in someone suffering an injury, though, is something that will surely infuriate Irving and the rest of his Brooklyn teammates.
Don’t be surprised if Irving ends up responding to this. Right now, everyone is waiting for an update on that injured ankle, as him missing any time would be a big blow for the Nets.
